Maartje de Jong


Maartje de Jong (1991) has been working as a lawyer in health law since 2015. Before joining Velink & De Die, she worked for nearly ten years in the healthcare practice at AKD N.V.

Within health law, Maartje specialises in corporate law issues and disputes within the healthcare sector. With her broad knowledge and experience, she assists healthcare providers with complex legal challenges, such as restructurings, collaborations, contract negotiations and governance issues. Maartje also advises healthcare providers on specific healthcare-related topics, such as healthcare procurement, dealings with regulators such as the NZa and IGJ, and conflicts between medical specialists and hospitals. She also assists healthcare professionals in disciplinary cases.

What clients in the healthcare sector particularly appreciate about Maartje is her personal approach, clear communication and no-nonsense mentality. She is able to translate legal matters into clear, practical solutions.
